101 Constitution Ave

PROJECT OVERVIEW: With commanding views of the U.S. Capitol, 101 Constitution Ave has long been a Capitol Hill landmark. In 2025, the building underwent a rooftop transformation, replacing a tent-covered terrace with a permanent, architecturally striking structure.

Gensler and DPR Construction partnered with OVERLY to deliver this vision using 1,435 square feet of 18-gauge bone white aluminum panels. The result is a refined, functional space that reflects the building’s status and enhances its skyline presence.

This project exemplifies how metal—when applied with precision and purpose—can elevate architecture both literally and figuratively. At 101 Constitution Ave, the future of metal architecture now shines from the rooftop.
