Green Square Daily Planet

PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Green Square Complex in downtown Raleigh unites the NC Dept. of Environment & Natural Resources with the Museum of Natural Sciences, promoting sustainability and education. Its standout feature, the four-story Daily Planet dome, functions as both a projection space and architectural icon.

OVERLY by East Coast designed and fabricated a Plate Stainless Steel Rainscreen XP™ system for the sphere, supported by a custom curved steel framework. Painted aluminum panels were used indoors to preserve visual continuity.
